Isaac Bonewits Benefit Concert (August 29, 2010)
Isaac Bonewits Benefit Concert
Isaac Bonewits show flier
Isaac Bonewits (1949-2010) was, as Wikipedia puts it, "an influential American Druid who published a number of books on the subject of Neopaganism and magic."

But when we met him in 2008, we have to admit that many of us found more distinction that he was a fan of the White Elephant Burlesque Society. He attended at least two of our shows, in conjunction with Wicked Events, and his son has been a regular attendee even longer and since.

When Mr. Bonewits lost his battle with colon cancer in 2010, White Elephant was proud to offer their services to a benefit and celebration of his life. We fashioned a setlist of songs we were told he loved ("Candyman," "Lollipop") and songs we thought he would be glad to see in his name.
