WEBS' Passionate Ink Flier
When Viktor and Fae were contacted by author Cristal Ryder to speak and perform at the Passionate Ink party for the Romance Writers of America, they were both humbled and thrilled.

They also knew they had a responsibility to be accurate and discuss the history of burlesque properly. So began their first official seminar on the past, present, and potential future of burlesque. Topics covered included styles of burlesque, codes of conduct, sexual identity, amusing trivia, unexpected examples in pop culture, controversy, and sexual expression.

From Gypsy Rose Lee to Dita von Teese to Rocky Horror to Christina Aguilera, Fae and Viktor dished informally for an enthusiastic crowd.

To fill in some gap, Fae provided a live vocal song to illustrate the bawdy and lyrical side of the art, Betsy Radical did a traditional send-up to modern rock music, and Viktor spanned the gamut with his genre-bending "Viktorian Medley," which samples Shirley Bassey's "Big Spender," Madonna's "Now I'm Following You," and even Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It."

Viktor played DJ, as well, and the attendees could not have been more delightful.
