The Mexico Gulf coast oil spill disaster of 2010 was met with numerous charitable donations, and the Electronica4Life movement was held in Boston, New York City, Tallahassee, Baltimore, New Haven, Albany, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

The White Elephant Burlesque Society appeared at the New York City benefit and performed some numbers that were inspired by the environment, and the Audubon Society as well as some classic burlesque style.

Press release: "This is a multi-City NATIONAL BENEFIT to Help the Wildlife in the Mexico Gulf Coast affected by the massive BP Oil-well catastrophe This IS an organized benefit,for the month of August, as a united effort with multiple Cities to help with the cleaning and the recovery of the Wildlife along the Gulf Coast, via donations to the Gulf Spill Recovery Fund."
