You can only die so many times before you truly start to feel alive. I have to admit, I don't know what came over me. I used to be such a nice girl. I used to help people. I guess what I thought I wanted was not in the cards. I've sent innocent men to jail, forced teenagers into prostitution, lied to my elders, stole from my blood and destroyed anyone who questioned me. I was on absinthe and opium all the time. I wanted everything you had. I thought there was no stopping me. When a gypsy gets gypped, things start breaking down. First it's her powers. All of her cursed and spells lose its strength and eventually wears off. Next is her wealth. Her stolen treasures are rightfully returned plus interest for the victims of her covertness. Last thing that goes is her mind. Her gift of foresight becomes tangled and what may make sense to her will sound like gibberish to you. It may not sound all that terrible but if you are caught in this state outside of America, you might as well drown. When you have nothing left, the only thing you can do is learn from your mistakes and rise like the Phoenix out of the ashes of Greed. | ||||||||||||
