There comes a time in every girls life when she is teased, humiliated and embarrassed about her looks and her attitude.
When the popular kids were praised for their bullying and left their pubescent victims in a state of despair and perpetual self-hatred. Some people ignore it, some never get over it.
I chose to prove them all wrong. My childhood consisted of living in my imaginary world. No one pulled your hair and stole your toys. No one ate your snacks or broke your favorite Hawaiian Barbie doll. It was just me and my world.
Then mother set up a video camera and hooked it to the TV. I pulled out my dress-up clothes and put a tape in my portable blue cassette player.
The rest is history.
