FEMME FAE LA BUTCHE
Femme Fae la Butche co-founded the White Elephant Burlesque Society in 2006 with Viktor Devonne. During her time with White Elephant, Fae headlined shows at Webster Hall, the Rochester Erotic Arts Festival, Wicked Faire, Steampunk World's Fair, PiCon, Rockstars and Strippers, Floating World, Libertine Ball, the original and corresponding SalonCon events, Dorian's Parlor, Geeky Kink Event, Five Minute Follies, and still others.

In addition to her work with White Elephant, Fae appeared with HyperGender Burlesque and Geek Girl Burlesque, with Viktor Devonne; she is also an extra in the music video "Happy Birthday, My Olde Friend," and her signature vaudeville-inspired duet with Gretchen Violetta, "Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn" was given a shout-out by its composer, Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls, on twitter: "two hot buxom girls in what looks like a stolen insurance board room doing burlesque."

During her time in burlesque, Fae co-choregraphed group acts, solos, duets, sang live, and helped shape major shows with Viktor Devonne. She played principal roles in some of WEBurlesque's first major concept shows, including 2009's Candyland Brothel (The Madam), 2010's WNDRLND CRNVL (White Queen), 2011's Wicked Fairyales (Henny Penny), 2012's The Dead Sexy Hotel (The Old Woman) and The Inventor's Workshop (The Wife), and 2013's Shakespeare's Nightmare (Gertrude).

While Fae has left her position as co-director of White Elephant to travel the world, her six years with WEBurlesque helped shape its future, and WE is grateful for that.
